the first locally made train for the istanbul airport metro project rolled off the line in the plant of crrc zhuzhou electric locomotive co., ltd. in turkey. this is the first time that a chinese overseas company manufactures an autonomous metro train with a speed level of 120km/h, and turkey’s “fastest metro train” successfully implements localized manufacturing.
adopting autonomous driving technology, the trains of the project were developed and manufactured by crrc zhuzhou and have the characteristics of high intelligence level as well as safety and comfort, satisfying the operational requirements of long-distance, large ramps and large number of passengers on the airport metro line. equipped with obstacle detection and derailment inspection equipment, the operating safety of the train has been effectively improved. the entire process of design, manufacturing and verification of the train has also passed authoritative safety certification.
to drive the localized manufacturing of turkey’s “fastest metro train”, crrc zhuzhou’s plant in turkey sticks to local manufacturing, local purchasing, local labor, local services and local management, benefiting suppliers of the upstream and downstream industry chains, creating multiple records of turkey’s urban rail transit, and promoting the development of turkey's rail transportation industry.
